A SCHOOLKID is among 11 people who tragically died in a horror crash after a truck smashed into a minibus taxi in South Africa. Witnesses claimed the truck driver made a sudden U-turn, leading to a head on collision with the minibus. Monday’s crash, near Johannesburg, was also between a truck and a minibus taxi being used to transport schoolchildren. The minibus driver, 22, was charged with a lesser offence at first, similar to manslaughter, but charges were later upgraded to murder. The Road Traffic Management Corporation is responsible for organising road traffic regulation, enforcement and strategic planning.
