Today, HSBC Bank Malta plc announced that it triggered the clause for early redemption with respect to the loan agreement with HSBC Continental Europe that it had entered into in January 2023 to enable the bank meet the minimum requirement for own funds and eligible liabilities (MREL) as set by the Single Resolution Board.
HSBC Malta also announced that its Board of Directors is scheduled to meet on 25 February 2026 to consider the approval of the 2025 annual report.
Malta International Airport plc closed unchanged at the €5.80 level as 959 shares changed hands.
