In Dangan, University of Galway were 1-21 to 1-14 winners over SETU Waterford to seal their place in the last four of the competition. The other semi-final will see DCU taking on Mary Immaculate College after both sides came through their respective quarter-finals yesterday. DCU recorded a 4-13 to 2-15 victory away to MTU Cork, where Sam Byrne (2, 1 penalty), Denis Walsh (1-5) and Luke Murphy grabbed the goals which helped to progress the visitors through. In Limerick, Mary Immaculate College cruised to a 3-22 to 0-13 win over UCD to move into the last four, with Oisin O’Farrell (2-3), Shane O’Brien (0-8) and Shane Walsh (1-5) among those to star for the home side.
