What began as one purchase evolved into The Bizzy Barnyard, a 2-acre home-based farm where Bizjack raises and sells chickens, eggs, goats and emus.
(Amy Stark Shireman) Show Caption 1 of 5 Susan Bizjack collects the eggs daily from her custom-built chicken coop.
(Amy Stark Shireman) ExpandBizjack, 54, lives with her husband Mike, 59, and their three children: McKenna, 20; Donovan, 19; and Kennedy, 17.
When customers buy her eggs, Bizjack includes a multicolored pamphlet she created that describes the difference between farm-fresh and store-bought eggs.
“Farm-fresh eggs can naturally have a slightly different appearance from store-bought eggs,” Bizjack said.
