A Friends of Democracy candidate is calling for a shift in political representation, saying ordinary Barbadians deserve a stronger voice. Speaking at a community meeting, candidate for St. Michael West Central, Katrina Ramsey, says as a young mother she is concerned about issues of safety in her community and Barbados. She says her decision to enter politics was driven by everyday realities, which include access to basic health care.
