As the partner of a cancer patient, I know how challenging it is to face what's ahead of them. They're dealing with chemo and immunotherapy, but also in the back of their mind they're feeling at risk because of the health of the system providing the treatment. Frightened and vulnerable because you don't want to be in an area where there could be mould. Then to find out the ward you were in as an inpatient had maggots. Money is the priority, rather than the welfare of patients.
