More than 15 million people are creating GenAI videos on the service of startup Higgsfield, which recently raised $130m in a Series A round valuing the company at more than $1.3bn. In a profile of the startup, AdWeek noted that Snoop Dogg, Madonna and Will Smith are among the artists who’ve been using its tools. It pitches itself as an AI-video platform “designed specifically for creative professionals like music video directors, commercial filmmakers, AI creators, and social media storytellers”. Founder Alex Mashrabov told AdWeek that the goal is “to be accessible to a regular social media marketer” rather than requiring deep prompt-engineering skills. “On Higgsfield one person can easily produce 30 to 40 seconds of content every day.
