Firefighters spent more than four hours battling a blaze at a Dunfermline flat overnight. Crews from Dunfermline and Lochgelly were called to Adamson Crescent just after 11pm on Wednesday. Smoke could be seen billowing into the night sky as flames came from a first-floor flat during the incident. Firefighters used two main jets and four breathing apparatus sets to tackle the blaze, with crews leaving the scene at 3.29am. A spokeswoman said: “Around 11pm on Wednesday, January 29, we received a report of a fire at Adamson Crescent, Dunfermline.
