A Stirlingshire mum is gearing up to row almost 3,000 miles across the Pacific Ocean. Victoria Peddie Bell, from Blanefield, will join two cancer survivors on the epic 2,800-mile journey to raise money for charity. The 50-year-old, who had never been in a rowing boat until taking on the challenge, will be joined by Felicity Ashley from Oxfordshire and Janette Potgieter from London. Felicity, a bowel cancer survivor, and Janette, a melanoma survivor, both previously rowed the Atlantic Ocean in 2021 for separate crews.
