A “professional thief” who stole a private-plated Range Rover, luxury jewellery and handbags from a home in Bridge of Allan has been jailed. However, “amateur” Barnes jettisoned the crowbar in his victim’s bedroom and police were able to return a DNA hit. Barnes was convicted following a jury trial at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.
