St Johnstone post big PROFIT despite relegation from the Premiership

St Johnstone have posted a PROFIT of over £350,000 despite being relegated from the Premiership.
In his strategic report to shareholders, Smith reflected on a “period of significant transition for St Johnstone Football Club, both on and off the pitch”.
He added: “On the field, the club was relegated from the Scottish Premiership after 16 consecutive seasons in the top divisions.
“This was driven by the Scottish Cup run, strategic player sales, disciplined cost management, and a cost-preservation programme implemented from January 2025 onwards.
Over £1 million extra, compared to 2024, was brought in as a result of the Scottish Cup run, which included a Hampden Park semi-final against Celtic.
