In a shocking move, the community was taken by surprise when the Antique Kitchen in Portage announced on Sunday, January 25, that it would be its last day. According to multiple posts both on Reddit and Facebook, apparently, the employees were given no notice that Sunday would be their final day at work. A local woman who frequently eats there posted the update on a Facebook group, to the shock of other members of the group who love this restaurant:Antique Kitchen of Portage is permanently closing. We had our regular Sunday morning family breakfast, and the waitresses know us by name and know our order. The owner spoke with us that they have been looking at options for a year, but ultimately decided to close the doors.
