Former BBC Radio DJ Andy Kershaw has revealed he is facing a serious cancer battle that has left him unable to walk. As per a report in Metro, Kershaw, 66, was diagnosed last August after doctors found cancer affecting his spine. “Since then, he has been undergoing treatment, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, physiotherapy, and a lot of scans and painkillers,” Everett wrote. “I am in good spirits, feeling very positive and planning another podcast,” Kershaw said, as reported by Manchester Evening News. He soon joined BBC Two’s “The Old Grey Whistle Test” and later secured his own program on BBC Radio 1, as reported by The Independent.
