Indivisible Central Michigan (ICM) continues to organize protests speaking out against the Trump Administration and the use of lethal force by Immigration and Customs enforcement (ICE). Pretti, an ICU nurse and veteran from Minnesota, was seen in a video attempting to help a woman who was pushed down by federal agents. Seconds later, while surrounded and pinned against the ground by several officers, Pretti was shot twelve times, killing him. He probably would’ve been killed.”ICM plans to hold a similar memorial for Pretti as they did for Good by leading a procession and casket to symbolize Pretti being laid to rest. The protest is planned to occur from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the general public is invited to participate.
