OSCR said he has extensive experience working within the public and charity sectorsScotland’s charity regulator has a new deputy chair.
Robin Strang has been appointed to the OSCR board by Shirley-Anne Somerville, cabinet secretary for social justice, housing and local governmentHis tenure will run from 1 March 2026 to 31 March 2030.
OSCR said Robin, who was reappointed to the group’s board last year, has extensive experience working within the public and charity sectors.
OSCR said he brings experience of managing charities, charity governance and working within a complex regulatory framework to its board.
He will be paid rate of £240.94 per day, based on a time commitment of up to three days per month (36 days per year).
