Dyslexia Scotland wants measurable improvements in educational outcomes, workforce participation and lifelong wellbeingDyslexia Scotland has published its manifesto calling for people with dyslexia to be brought in from the margins of Scottish society. The manifesto draws on academic research by the charity to highlight significant inequalities their community faces in education and employment. It is calling on political leaders to implement three critical policy asks that will deliver measurable improvements in educational outcomes, workforce participation and lifelong wellbeing. Cathy Magee, chief executive, said: “The challenges facing dyslexic and neurodivergent people require immediate attention - delays mean continued disadvantage, lost potential, and unnecessary hardship for individuals and families across Scotland. “Our educators are struggling to manage workloads, our support for learning needs are at a record high and people with dyslexia are consistently being left behind.
