Mr Ewart-James wants to sell his house so he can move into a smaller home and so that his children can get their inheritance.
He said at the time he felt “trapped” by the situation and is now extremely frustrated over the lack of action from Stroud District Council over the last 18 months.
Mr Ewart-James claims he has not had any meaningful update from the council since late 2024 and is considering legal action.
This is taxpayers money that has been totally wasted because Stroud District Council have failed in their duty to take responsibility for their mistake.
Stroud District Council chiefs says it is committed to progressing the project as quickly as possible.
