Ari Emanuel will release his first memoir, “Roll the Calls,” on Sept. 22.
Emanuel wrote “Roll the Calls” with Pulitzer Prize winner J.R. Moehringer, author of “The Tender Bar.” A first printing of 250,000 copies has been set, and an audio version will be handled by Penguin Random House.
“Roll the Calls” will chronicle Emanuel’s childhood on the South Side of Chicago, his early struggle with severe dyslexia and his humble beginnings working in the CAA mailroom.
Especially persistence.
My story is for everyone who feels doubted and especially for that person who’s been told to give up, just quit.
