DONOVAN: John Donovan passed away at the age of 82 on January 8th, 2026 in Maidstone Pine Island Lodge peacefully surrounded by his family. John was born in Lashburn, Saskatchewan, to John (Jack) and Elizabeth (Betty) Donovan on August 26, 1943, as the 5th child of 17. John was married to Gloria Rhinehart on May 21,1966 for 59 years and had four daughters that he cherished. John had battled dementia daily for his last 7 years, and for the final 11 months he resided in the Pine Island Lodge where family could visit him.
