Gerber is issuing a recall on certain batches of baby snacks that may contain a foreign material. On Jan. 26, Gerber Product Company announced a voluntary recall on limited batches of Arrowroot Biscuits due to the potential presence of soft plastic or paper pieces. The company said in a statement that the plastic and paper pieces come from a supplier of arrowroot flour who initiated a recall. “The quality, safety and integrity of our products remain our highest priority, and we take this responsibility seriously. We sincerely apologize for any concerns or inconvenience this action causes for parents, caregivers and retail customers,” said Gerber in the recall announcement.
