Hyderabad: On the orders of the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, VC Sajjanar, IPS, the Preventive Detention (PD) Act has been invoked against a notorious rowdy sheeter, Mir Akbar Ali (32), for his continuous involvement in grave criminal activities. Notably, this is the third time the PD Act has been invoked against him, having been detained twice previously. 25/2025: Registered under the NDPS Act. 173/2025: Registered under sections 324(4), 329(4), 351(3) of BNS and Sec 25(1) of the Indian Arms Act. Following the execution of the PD Act orders, Mir Akbar Ali has been shifted to Chanchalguda Central Prison.
