Syracuse, N.Y. — The top two teams in the Section III Division II boys ice hockey standings face off on Thursday night when Whitesboro travels to Skaneateles. Winners of the last six Division II sectional titles, Skaneateles trails Whitesboro in the Division II standings by two points with just 10 days remaining in the regular season. Whitesboro has not won a Division II sectional title since 2003. Skaneateles junior forward Braedan Taggart leads all Division II players with 20 goals and is second in Division II with 35 points (20 goals, 15 assists). Luke Bobbett, also a junior forward, leads all Division II players with 41 points (13 goals, 28 assists).
