A Blair County woman has been charged with attempted homicide after police said she tried to kill her husband. Police arrested Crawford after her husband went to police at about 5:17 p.m. Monday. According to court documents, Crawford told police that she plotted to kill her husband after the two had an argument on Sunday night. She fired again as he was running through the backyard, police said, and the bullet went through his jacket but narrowly missed him. When asked why she attempted to kill him, police said Crawford told them, “He was evil and had to die.”Crawford told police the gun used was located under a kitchen mat.
