Care UK’s Mere Hall welcomed a variety of creatures into the home, including a hedgehog, rabbit, snake and tortoise, during an afternoon of animal therapy. We thought a visit from some animal friends would be a great way to bring a smile to everyone’s faces. Animal therapy is hugely beneficial for older people, especially those living with dementia, as it can help lift a person’s mood and encourage social interaction.
