A TEENAGER has admitted murdering a 12-year-old schoolboy by stabbing him in the stomach as well as assaulting three elderly women in separate incidents. The 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, killed Leo Ross as he made his way home from school in Hall Green, Birmingham on 21st January 2025. Leo was found lying on the ground a short time later and his friend called for an ambulance. Emergency services and members of the public carried out life-saving treatment at the scene before Leo was taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital where he underwent surgery. The defendant's guilty plea today means Leo’s loved ones have at least been spared the ordeal of a trial.
