Loan striker Toyosi Olusanya has revealed a former Aberdeen boss ignited his career by taking a “gamble” to haul him out of non-league obscurity. The 28-year-old is well known to Dons fans after a successful spell at Premiership rivals St Mirren. “I really appreciate everything he did for me.”Olusanya’s move to St Mirren was not an immediate success. And he credits St Mirren boss Stephen Robinson with turning around his St Mirren career, after delivering an honest ultimatum. Olusanya said: “Getting to Europe with St Mirren was massive, it had been 36 years so to play in those games was great.
