The 3rd Regiment of the Armed Forces of Malta has been running a Combat Engineer Trade Course, designed to sharpen a highly specialised skill set within the Force. Combat Engineers aren’t your everyday soldiers, they help troops move safely, build defences, and manage hazards on the battlefield, making operations smoother and keeping soldiers safer. Last week, the course wrapped up with an intricate exercise, giving participants the chance to put everything they learned into action. This training isn’t just for show, it’s fundamental to the 3rd Regiment’s day-to-day duties, boosting operational skills and keeping Malta’s soldiers ready for any situation.
