Published January 29, 2026William “Bill” Howard Jones, Jr., of Harrogate, TN, passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 88. Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather whose life was rooted in family, hard work and service to his community. Bill is further survived by a host of nieces and nephews whom he adored, and many great nieces and great nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, William Howard Jones and Bernetta Good Jones; beloved sisters, Ruth (Walter) Dunn, Anna Mae (Whitt) Welch, Bobby (James) Comparoni, Opal (C.J.) Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel in Harrogate is honored to be serving the Jones family.
