Sidegate Primary School, in Sidegate Lane, has announced a new 'experienced' headteacher with history in improving 'inadequate' rated schools. Graham Almond took up the post of headteacher at the school at the start of this term with the trust stating they are 'delighted'. In 2014, the school improved to 'requires improvement' before the turnaround was completed in 2017 when it became rated 'good'.
