The two-way traffic lights were put in place by Cadent Gas last night on Wherstead Road, and are set to stay there until next Thursday. Delays are also building on the A137, which leads to Wherstead Road, all the way past Jimmy's Farm and Wildlife Park, which is a distance of more than two miles.
