The new plans to expand 95 Grove Lane in Ipswich from a six-bedroom HMO to a seven-bedroom HMO will be discussed by Ipswich Borough Council's planning committee on Wednesday, February 4. The plans were submitted in January but attracted objections from local residents who had fears that the increase in potential residents in the property will lead to more rubbish that "will attract vermin". There were also concerns over noise and the recent increase in HMOs along the street and in the general area. Planning officers for Ipswich Borough Council have recommended the plans for approval on the condition that a "secure refuse/recycle storage and presentation area" is installed prior to occupation of the extra resident. The plans will be decided by the planning committee of Ipswich Borough Council at a meeting on Wednesday, February 4.
