Port owners Associated British Ports (ABP) said the return of Hemisphere Freight Services to the site was "positive for the port and the region". Hemisphere handles a wide range of complex cargo, including industrial machinery, automotive components, and equipment destined for markets across Europe, Asia and the Americas. "ABP has been a fantastic partner throughout the process and the investment in the site has created a facility that meets our exacting standards,” he added. ABP property asset manager Kevin Fosbury said: “We’re proud to support Hemisphere’s continued growth and to welcome them back to Ipswich. The Port of Ipswich "continues to attract businesses seeking efficient access to global markets", it said.
