During Samsung’s Q4 2025 earnings call this week, the company took some time to hint at new products coming to stores in 2026, including AR glasses and a fresh lineup of foldables. But the real news is what’s coming next from Samsung, and in addition to some (as expected) massive projections for its memory business, we also got a tease for “next-generation” AR glasses (via Seeking Alpha). Seong H. Cho, head of Samsung’s mobile marketing division, kept it brief:For XR, we plan to deliver rich, immersive, multimodal AI experiences through diverse form factors such as next-generation AR glasses. Samsung began teasing its first set of XR glasses in October of last year, alongside the launch of its Galaxy XR headset. But considering Google has since promised an Android XR-powered “monocular” pair of glasses to ship this year, it’s entirely possible Samsung already sees display-equipped glasses as this “next-generation” launch.
