Marshals Service, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reported. According to the MCSO, a burglary was reported in the 77000 block of Logan Lane in Covelo on Jan. 18. After deputies responded and began an investigation, the suspected was reportedly identified as Kory R. Whipple, a 21-year-old Covelo man. The MCSO also reports that Whipple “had six outstanding felony warrants for his arrest, and was being investigated by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, personnel with the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, detectives with the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Bureau, and deputies with the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office.
