One person is in critical condition and has been escorted to the Georgetown Public Hospital. A heavily-laden truck appeared to have experienced mechanical issues and rolled backward into oncoming traffic. This is the first traffic fatality on the bridge since its opening on October 5th. The authorities have warned about speeding on the bridge.
