Footage shows Magdaline Wangeci lighting and and throwing three matches at the door of her neighbour in Ashford in the early hours of one night in October last year. ‌Thankfully, heavy rain meant the matches were extinguished on the wet doormat outside the house. Wangeci, 49, was later charged with attempted arson, though no damage was done and no-one was hurt in the incident. Having admitted attempted arson, Wangeci was handed a 4-month prison sentence, suspended for 18 months and a five-year restraining order against her neighbour.
