CM Omar Abdullah lays foundation stone of 10 MVA Receiving Station at Samba, inaugurates Bus Terminal at Thandi Khui

Follow us onChief Minister Omar Abdullah today visited Samba district, laying foundation stone for 10 MVA Receiving Station at Harminder and also inaugurated bus stand at Thandi Khui, Vijaypur.
At Harminder Samba, after inaugurating the receiving station, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, while interacting with the locals, said that the foundation stone for the 10 MVA receiving station at Harminder was laid with sole objective of enhancing power availability and improving voltage stability across Samba, particularly this area.
Terming farmers as backbone of J&K’s economy, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said like soldiers at borders who protect us from adversaries, farmers protect us from hunger.
Later, Chief Minister also inaugurated the newly constructed modern bus stand at Thandi Khui, Vijaypur, developed to provide safe, convenient, and commuter-friendly transport facilities.
Interacting with the officers on the occasion, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that the facility should be dedicated for the public use at the earliest and the other infrastructure developed with this Bus Stand should be properly utilised.
