View 3 Images (Image: Getty Images)Santander bank has announced major changes to its branch network which includes the closure of 44 branches across the country. ‌Santander said that this will enable the bank to 'better serve the changing needs of its customers.' The new Community Bankers will operate from either Santander Local branches or a Banking Hub that can provide support. The bank has confirmed it will continue to invest in its branch network, digital, chat and telephone banking services so that customers will have alternative options for banking.
