In an update today (January 29), Devon and Cornwall Police has now issued an appeal for witnesses as the cause of death remains "unexplained". Emergency services were called to Sidwell Street at around 3pm on Saturday, January 10, after concerns were raised for the man's welfare. A police spokesperson said: "While initially treated as non-suspicious, the man’s cause of death is currently unexplained. “There was a significant emergency services response in Sidwell Street at the time.
