Ms McKeith appeared on ITV News ahead of a Tonight programme. She claimed paparazzi appeared to know detailed information about Brooklyn's daily schedule during their time together in 2017. Ms McKeith said: "I could see that he would get visibly distressed and anxious. When asked who might have been tipping off the press, Ms McKeith declined to name anyone but said: "I won't say who I think it was, but I have an idea in my mind. When ITV News presenter Nina Nannar asked if she meant his parents, Ms McKeith declined to comment further.
