Callow End Village Hall has been given planning permission to double the size of its car park. The car park, off Upton Road, will be extended to provide a total of 30 spaces including two accessible bays. There will also be four secure cycle spaces. “The proposed design would utilise a grid that would be grassed over, providing a permeable surface that would not deteriorate the character of the site,” said Malvern Hills District Council, approving the plans. “Moreover, the additional parking would reduce the demand for on-street parking, reducing congestion in the local area.”
