The Entertainer in The Swan Centre will be closing on February 7 with the business sharing its "upset" on the impact of its brilliant colleagues. The business said it remains committed to serving the people of Kidderminster in select Tesco stores and its nearby The Entertainer shops at Merry Hill and in Worcester. A spokesperson for The Entertainer said: "It's with considerable regret that we've concluded that it's not commercially viable to continue to trade at our Kidderminster store at the Swan Shopping Centre, and we are particularly upset at the impact this has on our colleagues, who have run the store brilliantly. "Sadly, it is a fact of retail life that shops sometimes have to close, as shopping patterns shift and cost growth outstrips sales increases. "We remain committed to serving the people of Kidderminster through our popular toy concessions in select local Tesco stores, as well as nearby The Entertainer stores at Merry Hill Shopping Centre and in Worcester town centre."
