(Courtesy photo)WILMINGTON — Crews for Cape Fear Public Utility Authority have had to close lanes near Independence Mall due to an emergency water main repair.
It affects traffic traveling on the 3600 block of Oleander Drive, including part of the intersection between Independence Mall and the Hanover Center shopping center.
Two inner westbound lanes are closed, with traffic shifted into a single westbound lane.
Left turns out of the parking lots of both Independence Mall and Hanover Center and through-traffic between the shopping centers are blocked.
