Jamshedpur: A tragic incident occurred in the Indranagar Basti of Bhalubasa, under the Sitaramdera police station area, where an 85-year-old woman, Shobha Mukherjee, lost her life in a massive fire caused by a short circuit late last night. The fire spread so rapidly that the elderly woman could not be rescued in time. Late at night, a fire suddenly broke out in one part of the house. By the time the family and neighbors realized what was happening and rushed to help, the blaze had taken a formidable form, trapping Shobha Mukherjee inside. While preliminary findings suggest a short circuit as the cause of the fire, the police are exploring all possible angles.
