Rawreth Parish Council shared a police appeal as another horse is reportedly still missing after the owners were located, with anyone seeing a horse loose in the area urged to call 999 if the animal or people seem in danger. The animal is understood to have died after being struck at the roundabout near the Carpenters Arms overnight. A spokesperson for Rawreth Parish Council said: "At 3.30am our Clerk received a call from Essex Police to assist with locating the owners of a horse that had sadly been fatally struck in a traffic collision on the A1245 near to Carpenters Arms Roundabout. "The owners have now been located but we understand another horse is still missing. "We will update with more information on last known location and description as soon as possible but should anyone see a loose horse around Rawreth, Wickford, Rayleigh, Rettendon please let us know the location, if the horse and public are in danger please call 999 immediately."
