EE will unveil its first 'Experience' store of 2026 at Lakeside Shopping Centre in Thurrock at 12pm, with former England Lioness Rachel Yankey OBE set to attend the launch and greet its first visitors. The store is part of the company’s £3 million investment in retail locations between May 2025 and March 2026 and marks the first Experience store to open this year. "I spent my childhood excited at the thought of trips to Lakeside, so I’m very honoured to be opening the EE Experience store today." Nancy Foster, centre director at Lakeside Shopping Centre, welcomed the opening. She said: "EE is a leading technology brand, and the new concept store is a strong example of the kind of innovative, immersive retail we continue to attract.
