Tyler Kerry, a labourer from Basildon, was found at the bottom of the lift shaft in the hotel he was staying at in Antalya on November 29, 2024. She said Mr Kerry had been on holiday with family when he was “found deceased in the lift shaft with some of his clothing removed”. She said property belonging to Mr Kerry was not seized by police at the scene and this raised the issue of “contamination”. The UK post-mortem examination recorded his cause of death as multiple injuries and blunt force trauma. Ms Brown said she is “aware that a Turkish judge ordered an investigation into how Mr Kerry gained access to the lift shaft”.
