It is hoped that generous Irish tax breaks will attract crews from across the world to make their shows here, at Ireland's new 'global unscripted production hub.' ‌One of the biggest investments in Ireland’s screen production sector in recent years was announced today following an agreement between film production company BiggerStage, Troy Studios in Limerick, and studio operator The MBS Group. ‌A new 'unscripted' hub at Troy Studios will make it a key centre for the development of original intellectual property - and a space where global entertainment formats can be piloted at scale. Not only will a new production hub in Limerick bolster Ireland’s creative economy, but it should provide a big boost for training and skills opportunities, reinforcing Ireland’s position as a world‑class destination for international screen production.
