A coroner has ruled it is impossible to know if a Hackney Council worker’s untimely death from lung disease was from treating damp and mould in social housing. A formal investigation into the cause of his death was launched last July. Coroner Edwin Buckett made clear the inquest was to find out the cause of death and not a clinical or workplace negligence case.
