That trend will continue next month with the theatrical release of “Paul McCartney: Man on the Run,” a new documentary directed by Morgan Neville. “Man on the Run” screens in cinemas for one night only on Thursday, Feb. 19, via Trafalgar Releasing. After releasing his first solo album, “McCartney,” in April 1970, the singer and multi-instrumentalist wasasked what he planned to do next. Following its theatrical run, the doc will be available on Prime Video starting Feb. 27 in more than 240 countries and territories. The deluxe gatefold jacket features expanded artwork, meticulously reconstructed from Melinda Beck’s archival sketches, and is available in several limited vinyl variants.
